Teacher Admits Flinging Poop At Kids

Ummm.. excuse me?
Now I don't really know the particulars on this one except it's a Toronto teacher.. hopefully ex-teacher and she lost it and threw shit on her student. She is currently suspended from teaching.
Maria Pantalone, 49, was charged with two counts of assault – one against that child and one against another. She admitted to the charges today and agreed that there was no way she could justify her sick actions. Since being charged last summer, she has been suspended with pay and ordered to stay away from anyone under the age of 16, unless under supervision.
Her lawyer has submitted some 20 letters of support for his client, including one signed by 19 staff members at her school. (wow, I would never support a shit thrower!)Â The prosecution and defense basically agree that she can get an absolute discharge and not have a criminal record if she enters into a peace bond and agrees to not have contact with the children she so grossly assaulted.
I wonder what the kid's parents have to say about this? If it were my child I'd have a problem with her getting off so easy. I mean she's been suspended WITH pay for a year.. that's like a wonderful vacation! Then she gets off without a criminal record? I think it's insane.
