Ty Pennington Sentenced For DUI Arrest

That was quick.. seems like ten minutes ago when he got arrested, actually it was May 5. 

Anyway, on Friday Ty Pennington from "Extreme Makeover" pleaded no contest to a DUI charge and says he is happy to bring closure to these proceedings.  He was fined $1,500 and will be on probation for 36 months.  He also will attend a 90-day alcohol education program.

Pleading no contest helped him avoid the possibilty of spending some time in jail, so I would imagine Ty is pretty happy with the outcome, as he has expressed.
