Does This Look Like Spit To You?

A police officer in Iowa is suing McDonald's over the phlem content of his sandwich.  He discovered the phlegm when he opened his sandwich to remove the lettuce and tomato.

After the gross discovery the cop entered the McDonald's restaurant and found two teenagers working.  They admitted to sliming his sandwich and said they were imitating a movie (was is Super Troopers ?).  Both kids were fired from the McDonald's and one of them appologized to the officer.

After a year of trying to reach a settlement with McDonald's for the incident the officer has decided to sue.  He says the suit is less about money and more about accountability.  McDonald's says they take food safety very seriously.
