Wrong House Repossessed
We told you the other day about the bumbling cops who broke into an apartment, terrified a man and his wife and kicked him in the nuts before realising they'd raided the wrong apartment. Ooops ! Well stupidity and incompetence is all around us.
Now we hear that a lorry driver got home to find himself locked out and his clothes dumped in the street after a bank repossessed the wrong house. Robin Naylor, 57, spotted a series of black bin bags outside his house he at first thought someone had chucked their rubbish from a passing car. He said: "But then I tried to open the door and found the locks had been changed." When he peered into the bin bags he found they contained his clothes. Robin, fearing he had been evicted from the house in Halifax, UK called his landlord David Booth – who was equally baffled. They had to pay an emergency locksmith £100 ($200) to come out and open the front door. Once inside they discovered the water had been turned off and all the electrical items unplugged. The puzzled Mr Booth finally got to the bottom of the mystery when he discovered that bailiffs had been sent to the wrong address by the Halifax Bank after "an administrative error" !!! Angry Robin said: "If I had been a pensioner, I think the shock would have killed me. I can't believe how they can get it wrong with something so important." The bank said: "We are very sorry. It was a human error. We have offered every assistance to put this right. Mr Booth will not be out of pocket in any way as a result of this error."
Oh well thats all right then !

Well that sucks.
