Student Strangles Teacher After Being Loud In The Bathroom

A student in Malaysia who strangled his teacher after she reprimanded him for being loud in the bathroom MIGHT get suspended.

The 17 year old student was told to do squats with 3 other boys after he was found being noisy with a group of boys in the school bathroom.  The student ignored the teacher and headed back into the bathroom.  The 28 year old teacher grabbed his wrists but he pushed her hands away and then shoved her up against a wall and began to choke her.

The teacher suffered bruising around her throat and some other injuries.  School officials say they are looking into the incident to decide if they will suspend the student.

Wow… that's harsh.  It could end up on his PERMANENT record. 88|

I would not teach school… not for any amount of money.  Kids are out of control!

I, um, think the 17yo went postal here. A psychotic break or something. It seems to me that more and more teens are getting violent now more than ever before.88|

as a teacher, i can tell you that this kind of behavior from administration is sadly the rule rather than exception…many kids behave just as this kid did; with a total lack of respect…administrators, at least in my opinion, are so afraid of being sued that they err on the other side…i’ve had a kid tell me to f*ck off twice…once in front of administrator, the other time in front of several teachers…in my day that would have meant suspension…he got a couple of days of in school suspension which the kids actually welcome…they don’t have to do anything there…they sleep…sadly ridiculous…

LOL Billy.. no more loud farting! Squeeze your cheeks together and let it out a little at a time!

No wonder the guy didn’t want to do squats.. hahaha…

Lisa, seriously… I would end up in a mental facility if I had to deal with teenagers at work. None of them have any respect anymore! It’s unbelievable. I remember one time when I was in middle school.. probably mid 80’s.. a fellow student told off a teacher after the teacher had pretty much been rude to him.

We all gasped.. and the kid didn’t even use profanity. I remember him turning red in the face and saying to the teacher, “Do you delight in insulting people?” And for that we all shut up and got very still while the kid got sent to the office, suspended and was the talk of the school for the rest of the week.

These days school is nothing at all like that… there’s no respect. I really worry about Walter going to school and being around these rude kids. Peer pressure is incredible, and not in a good way.. I can just imagine other kids calling him “fag” because he’s polite… And we work so hard to teach our kids manners to have them destroyed by peer pressure at school?

Rose.. I was thinking more like expelled and arrested actually. How can a kid get away with choking a teacher? That is scary.

he’ll be fine with the good foundation you’re laying for him girl…no worries…not every kid is an s$$…my oldest graduated 4 years ago, the baby this May…both came out unscathed…it’ll be okay…just do what you’re doing teach him manners and respect, right from wrong…the kids that are taught that when they’re young come out okay…it’s the ones with no foundations and parents that make excuses for them that end up like the kid in this story…

  9. I have to say that when I was at school, the only time a pupil would be suspended or excluded was when it involved a teacher; if a pupil was attacked mealy a detention was given.

I remember on incident whereby a student went mental, grabbed a random boy’s head and rammed his head into the corner of a locker, knocking the boy unconscious. His mother was on the PTA surprise, surprise, he wasn’t excluded. The teachers spent a week saying they refused to teach him, but relented after pressure was applied from the headmaster.

  10. Really a terrible story to read. I think now a days, its the responsiblity of both the teachers and the parents to teach their children and students about manners and try to make them a good person rather than a good student or a rich citizen who is known just by his money and knowledge. I hope that the right justice will be done with this teacher. Thanks for posting.
