Looking For Me?

A man searching for his daughter who he had not seen in 10 years has found her.

The man had searched the streets and the local voter registration looking for his daughter, Lisa.  When he couldn't find he he turned to the local newspaper for help.  The paper took a picture of the man and his other two daughters to run in the paper.

When the story ran in the paper, some of Lisa's friends showed it to her.  Not because they knew it was her dad – but because she was pictured walking by in the background of the picture!

The man was reunited with his daughter shortly after that when they arranged a meeting.  Lisa had been completely unaware that her dad was looking for her and had no idea that she had appeared in the newspaper photo until it was pointed out to her.

Ok. You haven’t seen your dad in 10 years and you don’t have the slightest inkling he might to know how you are?

Well.. to be fair.. some dads don’t care. But I wonder why she never tried to get in touch with him?

OMG! What are the odds?? That truly is amazing!

In defense of Lisa, I didn’t know where my dad was for way longer than 10 years, and I had no idea if he even cared about me, let alone if he was looking for me. Believe me, it happens!

Leigh, it is amazing, isn’t it? Crazy that she was right there and in the picture.

Oh I can believe you that it happens. I think the longer people are out of touch the harder it is to even make that first step to try to contact them, and then of course if you can’t find them it’s a lot more difficult.
