We Knew It All Along – The IRS Are A Bunch Of Screwups

How can you get secret information such as passwords from the IRS?  Well, you just call and ask of course.

In a government study, 102 calls were made to IRS employees asking for sensitive information after prending to have a computer problem.  In 61 of the calls, the brilliant government employees complied with requests for usernames and that the password be changed to something the caller specified.

    I have long suspected that Revenue Canada (our equivalent of the IRS) is not competent enough to do something like that. But then again, maybe that’s just what they want us to think.
