Taser-Mania on Pregnant Woman
Have you heard about the pregnant woman who was hit with a Taser gun because she was trying to leave the police station?
Ok, here it goes.
The woman was sick and tired of dealing with the father of her 1 year old son. She says she was physically and emotionally abused by him and the only way she knew she would never have to deal with him again was to give up custody of the child. So she called family services. They told her to go to the police station and turn over the child to the police.
So she tried. She went to the police station and told the officers there that she wanted to give up custody of her son. Then one of the officers started berating her and asking her what kind of mother could she possibly be and what kind of person gives up their own child like this.. etc.
Ok, well yeah.. maybe a lot of us would feel that way. But the bottom line is that she wanted to give up the child and she was told to go to the police station to do it.
She got frustrated by all of the questions the officer was throwing at her so she tried to leave with the child. At that point the officer basically jumped her from behind, pushed her to the floor on her stomach and started yelling for her to give him her hands. Well, all his weight was on her and her unborn child and her arm was tucked under her body, so she couldn't give him both her hands. As a result, the officer went Taser crazy and shot her on the back of the neck with the Taser gun. The woman has burns on the back of her neck and contusions on her body from this event.
The cops say that since she was wearing a heavy winter coat, they didn't know she was 7 months pregnant. And I guess she didn't say, "Hey, I'm pregnant" as she was thrown the the floor and Tasered either.
I hope she sues their asses off. Cops seem to be on a power trip with these Taser weapons and it's out of hand.

Educators Take A New Approach
Parents are outraged to learn that their little special needs snowflakes have been being placed in a padded room at their school after classes.
One mother was horrified when she saw the room and said that it stinks, has no ventilation and fluorescent lighting and she suspects and fears that the room has been used for students who act out.
The school officials say that the room has been used once in a crisis situation, but in general the kids just wait in the room for their parents after school.Â
Some parents, are not as outraged.. and probably wish they had a room like this at home for the kids. They say rooms like this provide a safe place for kids who are acting out in ways that could cause injuries. Their problem with the room at this school was that it was so poorly designed.
After all of the complaining, the school district dismantled the room and now use it as a quiet instruction room instead of a storage room for children.

Have You Decorated For The Holidays Yet?
Have you put up your holiday decorations yet? We haven’t yet at my house, and I’m kind of glad because I have been reading a lot about the benefits of LED holiday lights.
The old type of lights that I have are the incandescent ones, which are pretty but they use more energy than LED Christmas lights . The LED mini lights consume 80-99 percent less energy than the traditional lights. They last a lot longer too, so when I replace my lights this time I won’t have to worry too much about bulb replacements for quite a while.
One of the most important things to me though, is that the LED bulbs don’t get hot. I have a toddler and pets in the house so this one cinched the deal for me. Lights that won’t burn anyone and aren’t a fire hazard are a true plus. Another thing about the LED Christmas tree lights are that the bulbs are inside a tough epoxy shell, so they don’t break like glass bulbs. That’s another very important safety feature.
So what’s not to love about LED holiday lights? They are eco-friendly because they use less energy than the lights I have used in the past, they are safe for my family because they don’t get hot and are not easily broken plus I will save money in the long run because they last so much longer.

Since making the sex donation during the live television event, Maria Carolina has appeared on talk shows and been making news headlines throughout the country and now the world. She says that the 27 hours of love have already been auctioned off for $4,000 to one of her regular customers who thought it was a good cause.Â
Umm.. yeah.. a good cause.
Well, actually it was a good cause. The annual charity event raises money for poor, disabled children. Since prostitution is legal in Chile, Carolina has done nothing wrong by donating her services to the cause.Â

Bride and Stubble Faced Groom, Actually Terrorists
At a checkpoint in Baghdad a wedding convoy was stopped. The soldiers became suspicious because all of the members of the convoy were male, except the bride. But wait, yep, the bride was male too. And they were wanted terrorists.
The soldiers said that the "groom" refused to lift his "bride's" veil so that they could have a look at her. When they finally did get a good look, they found a fugly stubbly faced man in the wedding gown and veil.
Tumbleweeds For Sale, No, Really
When a woman from Kansas wanted to learn html and how to make a website, she made a mock website that advertised tumbleweeds for sale.
It was a joke, but now she's laughing all the way to the bank because she gets orders for tumbleweeds every day. She sells small, medium and large ones and when she gets an her orders, she runs out and catches them, boxes them up and cashes in on it.
The Prairie Tumbleweed Farm has supplied tumbleweeds to NASA to test their Mars tumbleweed rover. The woman has also sold tumbleweeds that have appeared in Hollywood films, tumbleweeds that have been on the television show with the big purple dinosaur that is Barney and in upscale store window displays.
Too bad I didn't think of this when I was learning to do html. I put up porn pictures..of myself.. and friends.. and your mom… instead. If only I'd have thought of tumbleweeds!
