Snake Becomes A Family Member

A Cambodian family found a snake in their house several years ago and decided to adopt it. They gave it its own room and let it sleep with their son.
The snake was about the size of a thumb when it slithered into their home over seven years ago. Now it is about 16 feet long and weighs over 100 pounds.
One of the four children in the family, a little boy, was about three months old when the snake arrived, and is very attached to the female python. He pats her with baby powder, rides her and sleeps in her coils.
The family now believes that the snake has a magical spirit that understands him and protects the family from illness. The father prays for the snake to keep the family happy and healthy.

I can believe it. I do the same thing with the cockroaches in my house.
Fab: Eeeeeekkkkkkyuuuuckkkkkk
NEVER EVER EVER would I have a pet snake in my house! I have another award for you Gerri!
Its a scary idea to have a snake. What happen if he decide to eat the whole family?
Kiwi.. agreed! I am so scared of snakes.. all snakes. I can’t imagine letting a child sleep with one. What if the snake gets hungry during the night? If he squeezes the kid it’s all over.
