Plane Lands On Golf Course – There Was A Reason…

A plane makes an emergency landing on a gold course. The emergency? Son was late for tennis practice at the tennis club and team tryouts are coming up!
Robert Kadera, 65, landed his Piper Clipper airplane on the snow covered Marriot Lincolnshire Golf Course on Saturday. As the plane circled, rescue workers were standing by, thinking there was a REAL emergency and that there might be crash victims who needed assistance.
Kadera parked the plane on the 7th fairway and he and his son jumped out to run across the street for the tennis tune up. He may face charges of trespassing, since he didn't get permission to park his plane on the golf course.
The Federal Aviation Administration may have something to say about it too. They are investigating the incident and may revoke Kadera's pilot's license and impose civil penalties. He has been licensed to fly for 40 years.
The police would not allow Kadera to fly the plane home, so it had to be lifted onto a truck by a crane, disassembled and then towed home.

I’m dropping off 3 10 kg bags of dog food to the animal rescue league tomorrow. It’s all I can really do for now, but I’m still trying to see if I can get the kids in the confirmation class to do something. Have a great day Gerri!
Thanks Tammy!!!
